The CCFO is a year-round class for musicians from beginner-advanced, aimed at helping you gain skills and confidence playing in an ensemble.

 
 

Join the year-round orchestra that is:

You don’t have to be a professional musician to enjoy an orchestral experience that’s beginner-friendly!

 
 

These fun and educational mixed-level, mixed-instrument hour-long classes will

  • Meet you exactly where you are

  • Help you learn to make music with others, and

  • Take your musicianship to the next level!

This year-round class meets 3 times per month to support participants in:

  • Gaining confidence playing in a group setting

  • Learning the skills needed to succeed

  • Experiencing ensemble playing at its most FUN!

 

The Cookeville Community Folk Orchestra meets
3 Mondays per month BEGINNING AUGUST 4TH, 6:30-7:30 pm at the KSM Oaklawn Extension

FAQs

  • The Cookeville Community Folk Orchestra is open to musicians age 9 and up.

    Open to Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass.

  • CCFO rehearsals are held at the KSM Oaklawn Extension (address given at registration).

  • The CCFO will have performance opportunities at the KSM Spring Virtual Recital, as well as the KSM Fall Recital at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center each Fall.
